Privately owned and operated, Garden City Travel Plaza is a state-of-the art traveler's oasis located in western Kansas at the intersection of U.S. highways 50 & 83 on the northwest side of Garden City. We are a growing employee-friendly company dedicated to graciously serving locals and the traveling public. Our modern facilities were designed and built with all the modern amenities to cater to tourists, truck drivers and locals where no other full-facility stop has previously existed. In fact, customers in the area had few other options for travel plaza services until we first opened our doors on September 12th, 2000.
Garden City Travel Plaza includes parking for approximately 175 trucks and 125 automobiles and is ADA compliant in every way. We feature seating for 170+ customers in Bonnie's Kitchen, our full-menu restaurant open 24 hours per day. We also have a 2,600 sq. ft. travel store along with a driver's theater that seats 40+ guests, a separate satellite-TV lounge, 10 private showers and 4 public restrooms, game room, laundry room, certified platform truck scales and a 2-bay truck shop with major-brand truck tires, a full lube pit and all nationally-known lubricants and parts.
