The Greater Greenville Chamber at its core is dedicated to promoting quality development of Upstate South Carolina through managed growth, service to members and the public, and a community-wide approach to issues shaping the region's future.
These are some facts you may find valuable. The Greenville Chamber:
- Has more than 2,300 members who pay annual dues to enjoy benefits such as serving on committees, attending networking and training events, and receiving the Chamber's monthly business publication, Outlook;
- Is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization;
- Serves Greenville, Greenville County and at times, the Upstate region;
- Represents large and small business. 85% of the current membership is made up of small businesses, having 50 or fewer employees;
- Has more than 30 professionally trained staff to provide guidance, continuity and expertise to the Greenville Chamber's current membership;
- Is divided into divisions focusing on the following areas: Economic Development/Small Business, Communications; Membership Services; Public Policy; Workforce Development, including Leadership programs; Finance; and, Administration; and,
- Is independent of local or state government.
