Indian River State College (IRSC) is located on Florida’s Treasure Coast, which encompasses St. Lucie, Indian River, Martin and Okeechobee counties, on the east coast of Florida. IRCC is a public college offering Bachelor’s Degree programs, Associate degrees for university transfer, career training and professional and personal development. About 12,000 full-time students and approximately 40,000 area residents receive educational services each year from IRSC. Full service campuses are located in Fort Pierce, Vero Beach, Stuart, Port St. Lucie and Okeechobee.
IRSC offers students a choice of more than 100 programs. Workforce oriented Bachelor’s degrees are available in organizational management, public safety administration, health care management, math and science education and nursing. Associate in Arts degrees give students a firm foundation for upper-level studies, while Associate in Science programs provide career training. Continuing education, cultural events and campus organizations supplement the board spectrum of courses offered online and during day, evening and weekend hours. Due to the tremendous growth in the four-county area served by IRSC and program expansion, the College is generally seeking full and part-time instructors in many disciplines.
