Qbase
Our company thrives on creating the fastest, most inventive approach to any database or analytics challenge. Many of us have known each other and worked together for years, at LexisNexis, Lockheed Martin, and at some of the nation's premier nonprofit institutions.
Qbase is a 15-year-old company with offices in North America and the United Kingdom, operating under separate ownership. Both the U.S. and British firms offer solutions in three key areas: data management, data analysis and strategic consulting.
Based in Dayton, Ohio, Qbase was formed in North America in 2005 by executives and technologists with extensive experience in database management, analytics and marketing. The founders all were formerly with LexisNexis, the giant global information provider.
Qbase clients in North America take advantage of the proven data processes developed by Qbase Data Services Ltd. in Warrington, England, just outside Manchester. The British firm's 150-plus clients include retail giant Staples; publishers Newsweek, The Wall Street Journal and McGraw Hill; nonprofit organizations such as Macmillan Cancer Relief of Great Britain; and leading business-training firm SkillPath.
Since its launch, Qbase in North America has targeted its solutions for several market sectors, including nonprofit organizations; higher education institutions; state and federal government agencies; and the U.S. military. We recently have released solutions for healthcare management and sciences.
At Qbase, our business philosophy embraces the concept of giving back to the community. Our executives and team members are involved in a variety of volunteer activities, including serving as trustees on educational, cultural and social services Boards. Qbase donates services and support to several charitable organizations in the region, and achieves 100 percent employee participation in the United Way workplace giving campaign.
Our robust internship program reaches out to the colleges and universities in the region, providing substantive work experience to participants.
