Job Description:
Provides a wide variety of technical support to the engineering and building of ALMACO agricultural research equipment. Assists with designing, building, and testing prototype equipment, services equipment at customer sites, conducts quality and pre-service work inspections and performs final assembly duties as assigned. Provides technical expertise and works with engineers, sales, customers, and manufacturing personnel to continuously improve ALMACO products and services.
Requirements:
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, good interpersonal and communication skills to resolve, discuss, and explain technical information with manufacturing, engineers, and customers for their complete understanding. Candidate must be willing to travel to customer sites, and to be on "24-hour call" and ready to travel immediately and for extended periods during peak customer service seasons.
