Job Summary:
CETCON, Combustion and Environmental Testing Consultants, and a leader in the specialized field of air quality testing, combustion consulting and fired heater operator training has an immediate opening available for a Senior Environmental Specialist. This is an outstanding opportunity to learn a specialized trade in the growing environmental air testing industry with an excellent opportunity for advancement while working for consultants who are recognized throughout the industry. Candidate will be part of a team of environmental professionals that conduct air emission tests on sources located at refineries, natural gas transportation facilities, electric utilities, pulp & paper mills as well as many other chemical related and manufacturing facilities.
Qualifications:
The candidate must have at least one year of emission testing experience using EPA Reference Methods and field related equipment. The candidate must also have the ability to work at various elevated heights in adverse weather conditions, prepare and repair field equipment including the mobile testing laboratory. The candidate should be mechanically inclined and be proficient with computers and software such as Microsoft Word and Excel. The candidate must exercise independent judgment and discretion, as work will be performed under general supervision from management. Substantial overnight travel and field work is required. Company is based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma with the majority of the work performed in a 500-mile radius of Tulsa. Chemistry, mechanical, instrumentation or combustion related experience and/or education is also desirable but not required.
