Automotive Sales Professional:POSITION SUMMARY

Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs.
Describe vehicles and explain use, operation, and care of vehicle to customers.
Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
Prepares buyers order for sale and obtains customer and manager signature for approval
Answer questions regarding the brand and its products.
Maintain records related to sales.
Demonstrate use or operation of vehicle(s).
Place special orders or call other stores to find desired items.
Prepare vehicle for purchase or lease.
Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
Inventory stock and requisition new stock.
Tag, arrange and display merchandise to promote sales.
Obtains estimate and quote on trade-in allowance from management.
Understands and describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
Follows dealership sales procedures and follow-up protocol.
Exhibits high level of commitment to customer satisfaction
Attends product and sales training courses. Stays current on all training required for manufacturer and dealership.
Follows proper opening and clsoing procedures.
Familiarizes customer with dealership and service department team. Scheudles first service visit at time of delivery.
Follows up on all post delivery items including but not limited to tag, title, "we-owes" and other special requests.
Sets individual monthly goals and is expected to meet and/or exceed established minimum monthly performance standards.
Attends sales meetings as required.
Maintains a professional appearance and attitude at all times and reports to work in proper attire/uniform.
Meeting Sales Goals, Motivation for Sales, Selling to Customer Needs, Financial Skills, Documentation Skills, Scheduling, Telephone Skills, Listening, Verbal Communication, and Customer Focused.Must hold a valid unexpired Driver`s License with an acceptable driving record.
