Job Description :
Qualified candidates will need to have the capabilities to perform the following routine functions: must be technically competent in all aspects of water and wastewater engineering; must be able to manage a team of civil, environmental, structural, mechanical, electrical, and I&C professionals in the production of project deliverables; must be able to manage multiple projects at one time; must be able to prepare/manage project budgets including the development of detailed project instructions, scope of work, level of effort, and associated man-hour estimates; must keep accurate and up-to-date project accounting; must conduct written and oral project reporting; must be capable of building and mentoring a motivated team for cost effective project execution; must be capable of leading project workshops; must be capable of performing a variety of public speaking activities including addressing client boards, councils, commissions, and governing bodies, as well as the ability to make technical presentations at professional trade shows and conferences; and, must be able to assist with the development of marketing proposals and presentations, as well as represent the firm with client development.


Project Managers will be responsible for managing a wide array of WBL planning, modeling, and design projects such as: water/wastewater treatment systems, including conventional and advanced process train plants; distribution systems, including conveyance and network piping, pump stations, storage units, and reservoirs; and collection systems, including interceptor, network and outfall piping, pump stations, and equalization facilities. Candidates must have a strong understanding of the most current regulations associated with the Safe Drinking Water Act and Clean Water Act.

Job Requirements :
Project Manager must hold a Bachelors Degree in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited program. A Masters Degree in civil or environmental engineering preferred. Candidates must be a Registered Professional Engineer (PE). Candidates must have the ability to obtain PE registration in all applicable states of practice. Candidates must be an active member of AWWA and WEF. Candidates will have 10 or more years of similar technical experience with 3 or more years experience in project/team leadership.
