Manufacturing Shift:
Rotating two week schedule with every other weekend off. 4:00 to 4:00 a.m. and p.m. positions available.
Compensation:
$12.25 per hour
Your Role:
As a member of our Brownsville Production Team, which is dedicated to making "the finest Italian cheeses money can buy", you will work a two week rotating schedule of just 182 days per year, with 3 day weekends off every other week. You'll also enjoy premium pay for all night and weekend hours worked.
Responsibilities:
You will assist in cheese making production operations, including: cooking, handling and processing cheese curd. You will move and compress curd particles on the finishing tables to release whey, pack curd bundles, and then cut, stack and turn matted curd. You will also check curd pH and acidity as required, while maintaining a brisk pace to ensure continuous production flow.
Qualifications:
No experience is required, though previous cheese making or food industry experience is helpful. Because of the physical demands of this position (consistent lifting of 65 pounds during the 12 hour shift, you will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
