Exceptional opportunity for Board Certified/Board Eligible EM physician in the beautiful rural Northwest. The community is an hour's drive from one of the fastest growing, economically booming areas in the country and is, itself, on the cusp of significant growth and development. The region boasts a tremendous wealth of activities for the sportsman and outdoorsman including some of the best fly fishing in the country, hiking, climbing, rafting, boating, and all winter sports. The opportunity is to join a Provider Based Clinic being developed by the community's very progressive and highly regarded Critical Access Hospital. The PBC currently consists of a Family Physician, Family Nurse Practitioner/Certified Nurse Mid-wife, and OB-Gyn. The Clinic also accommodates visiting specialists in Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Podiatry, and General Surgery. The Hospital plans to recruit additional specialists to this practice as indicated by growth and medical staff requests.
The hospital is a Top 100, "Five Star" hospital. It has demonstrated top quality indicators in comparison to all hospitals in its region. The recent State inspection resulted in zero deficiencies. It enjoys an overall patient satisfaction rate of 96%. It has also been recognized as the City-County Chamber "Business of the Year." A $50M facility project will break ground in three years creating new ER, OR, imaging, laboratory, patient rooms/tower, and facilities support.
The very loyal and supportive medical staff also includes five Family Physicians and a Physician Assistant in an established, independent group practice that has been in the community for more than 30 years. Additional consulting physicians in Orthopaedic Surgery and Internal Medicine, as well as five other Family Physicians and another Podiatrist, complete the full-time medical staff.
The hospital will complete additions and renovations to its present facility in approximately two years. The new hospital will feature state of the art emergency, imaging, laboratory, out-patient services, and surgery facilities, as well as upgrades to its support and operations infrastructure.
