Job Description:
Design and development of electronic black boxes from concept definition to finished product for telemetry and other applications; most finished products are intended for PCM telemetry, command & control and other digital system applications; some travel will be required.
Qualifications:
Minimum of BSEE, coupled with 8 years hands-on experience in a relevant field; knowledge and experience in encryption methods is highly preferred; ability to generate system specifications and sub-system flow-downs, using internal and customer driven discussions and requirements; demonstrated experience in high speed digital design (up to 300 MHz) including board design and layouts is essential; experience in design, development and timing simulation of high speed circuits using Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) tools from ALTERA and/or ACTEL is essential; proficiency in using "ModelSim" simulation and design tools, VHDL programming of the FPGA and high speed circuit board design and layout is a must; familiarity with ISO 9001, military specifications and engineering processes is essential.
