Position Description
Reporting to the Shaftsbury Plant Manager - A crushing plant operator/Maintenance Tech is responsible for daily batching and maintenance of the plant including but not limited to; greasing bearings, tracking conveyor belts, recognizing and reporting mechanical issues, cleaning the grounds with a skid steer water hose and shovel, welding repairs to plant and learning how the plant functions to obtain the ability to operate the plant.
Essential Functions
- Assist in the manufacturing processes
- Work independently and also collaboratively with others at the plant.
- Perform plant housekeeping and cleanup
- Welding/cutting experience preferred
- Learn and expand knowledge of the plant and business
Work Environment
- Hands on industrial
- In / Outdoor work year round

- A great attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Clear communication skills both verbal and written
- The ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift at least 60lbs
- Equipment operating experience a plus
- Welding Experience preferred
