Overview

Radius is hiring a Senior Tax Analyst to join our finance team. This position will report to the Manager, Tax & Treasury and partners with the accounting team. The candidate will focus on US tax compliance and reporting. Additionally, this position will also be responsible for supporting the US payroll.



Responsibilities

  • Assist with responses to inquiries and correspondence from federal, state, and local tax authorities
  • Provide support and work with outside tax advisors to ensure timely filing of US federal, state and local tax returns
  • Assist with year-end tax provision calculations and provide inputs into quarterly and annual SEC filing
  • Assist with tax planning implementation and tax research projects, as needed
  • Ensure the Companys tax files are well-organized, properly maintained and available to address audit examination issues
  • Assist with preparation of bi-weekly payroll for US employees
  • Assist with year-end processing and closing of payroll in support of W-2s
  • Assist with responding to management team and employee inquiries regarding payroll
  • Assist with preparation of payroll accounting journal entries and monthly account reconciliation
  • Develop, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Research and resolve discrepancies independently
  • Perform other payroll processing duties as necessary
  • Ad hoc assistance with SOX controls and documentation, as needed


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • Minimum of 3+ years of full-time tax experience
  • CPA certification is preferred, but not required
  • Payroll experience is preferred, but not required
  • Familiar with internal revenue code, related regulations and ASC 740
  • Indirect tax experience would be advantageous, but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly excel
  • Prior large accounting firm or multinational corporation experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to be detail oriented, accurate and efficient
  • Strong and effective interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability and desire to maintain confidentiality and protect employee information
  • Ability to work independently and be a team player
