Overview
Hazleton Division of The H&K Group, Inc., is looking for the ideal Assistant Lube Service Technician!
Candidates should have a minimum of one year certificate from college or technical school; or 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in diesel mechanics.
This self-motivated, organized, competent, and professional individual performs all equipment servicing activities for the H&K Group companies and quarries.
*Required to obtain CDL B in reasonable time frame.*
Responsibilities
Essential Abilities, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Completes all scheduled required servicing, by type, products, and assignment.
- Performs all oil sampling as required with proper documentation..
- Reports to lube maintenance supervisor on each visual inspection of problems or issues on written form and/or orally for serviced equipment.
- Notifies supervisor immediately of any complications when servicing that would make equipment inoperable for the next shift.
- Keeps a check and balance on equipment filter stock.
- Maintains oil and filter stock in service truck to complete assignment.
- Maintain cleanliness of lube truck, serviced equipment, and work site.
- Reports all oil spills to environmental staff an supervisor.
- Receives training of lube requirements for new equipment to perform manufactures requirements
- Other duties may be assigned.
