Responsibilities
SUMMARY
Responsible for the activities and projects focused on communicating with the corporate body and training employees through creative mediums including both branded and non-branded web development as well as the overall execution and participation in web/internet strategies (wikis, blogs, podcasts, etc.), email promotions, eLearning modules, and campaign/project analysis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Facilitate and administer development of eLearning modules in conjunction with subject matter experts.
2. Work with projects and team members to develop and deliver creative communications materials and training medium.
3. Design, set-up and deploy available systems for Learning and/or Communications.
4. Track project budgets and ensure that costs are controlled, targeted and tracked.
5. Conduct monthly business reviews with management to review project plan, action plans, cost and status of projects for delivery and execution.
6. Establish relationships with customers, vendors and industry experts to maintain a pulse on the competitive landscape in the business communications and learning markets.
7. Work with Sr. VP and VP of HR on special communications or training projects
8. Provide alternate ideas or suggestions for methods of deployment of communication and training to increase employee loyalty and buy-in
9. Work with Vendors, IT and subject matter experts to develop and deploy necessary communications and training effectively and at the best cost for the value.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university, Marketing/Communications, Human Resource, or Business Information Systems degree preferred. Other degrees acceptable with experience: 12-18 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Ability to clearly articulate a message; allowing the reader to feel confident in your work.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Familiarity with technologies used for web communications. This includes the creation and administration of blogs, wikis, podcasts, webcasts, websites, etc. Ability to create and deploy websites using an array of technologies. Prefer familiarity with PHP, ASP .Net, and C#. Candidate should have a technical aptitude, and be able to learn new technologies quickly and evaluate their usefulness.
