Job Description:
Organize all phases of the Company's sales effort for the sales territory and/or customer base. Coordinate and have frequent contacts
with all internal departments to include sales & marketing, accounting, manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance. Extensive interface with customers, product line managers, and independent representatives.

BASIC FUNCTIONS AND BOOKING RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager and Product Line Manager, organize and execute the sales and marketing activity for Marathon Power Technologies product lines.

Promote and sell the company's existing products to specified accounts.

Promote and sell the company's new products to specified and prospect accounts.

Develop with the Sales & Marketing Manager, as appropriate, selling prices, consistent with customer perceived value and company guidelines.

Expand the existing/new products market share.

Prepare written proposals in support of product line bookings.

In conjunction with the Sales & Marketing Manager and Product Line Manager, prepare a yearly income/bookings plan, which support corporate goals.

Provide a monthly report to Sales & Marketing Manager on territory, sales activity, and key metrics.

Maintain proper utilization of time and territory management. Provide monthly call schedule and travel plans to the Sales & Marketing Manager - on a 90-day rolling basis. Manage travel expenses in accordance with plan or forecast.

Coordinate with appropriate personnel on follow-up of open quotations to assure receipts of bookings in support of book-to-ship plan.

Maintain a pipeline of new products/projects in support of product line growth plans.

Meet forecasted new business quotas as set at the beginning of each fiscal year.

Assist in long-range sales/margin analysis and marketing strategy for the product line.

Support sales administrators in evaluating inquiries, formulate proposal strategy, and approve pricing to ensure our products are specified and purchased.

Complies with and conducts business in accordance with the letter, spirit, and intent of all relevant laws and regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions; wherefore, refrains from any illegal, dishonest, unethical conduct. Maintains communications with all employees, vendors, customers and others in a cooperative and professional manner, while treating them in with dignity, respect and
courtesy.

Other Responsibilities (may include some or all of the following)
Review terms and conditions for liabilities on all new proposal and contracts to ensure conformity with company policy.

Advise Sales & Marketing Manager of product line status with the customer, and short/long initiatives required attaining customer
loyalty.

Coordinate visits with customer representatives, arrange and participate in conference as required.

Maintain a contact list and develop an outline of major customer organization to include decision-makers in engineering and purchasing.

Performs other related duties as required and may be assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in an engineering or marketing field and several years sales engineering experience with a broad knowledge of
aerospace/aviation industries and their requirements, or the equivalent.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Knowledgeable of features, technical aspects, benefits and use of the product line, and complete knowledge of selling techniques and ability to close sales. Demonstrated knowledge in accounting, margin analysis, and computer literacy in using the Internet, Microsoft Office and other Windows based software. Excellent organizational and communication skills are required, both written and oral.

TRAVEL
Outside travel approximately 40 - 50% of the workweek.
