Computer Aided Design Support Engineer
Job Location: Greenville, SC
Shift:
Full Time
Description
The candidate is expected to:
- Develop expert level skills with the new CAD/CAM/CAE systems and their methodologies
- Define new work methods and recommended practices
- Apply the new methods and practices to new non-standard situations.
- Act as the liaison between the North American user community and the software development organization.
Position involves
- Diagnosing, reporting, and tracking software issues (need for new functionality, bugs, etc.);
- Assisting new users;
- Training users in the use of the tool; and
- Testing new software versions.
Qualifications:
- BS in an engineering or scientific field.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong computer skills. Programming experience is a plus.
- Experience using commercial CAD systems. CATIA v5 experience is a strong plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, especially technical communication, are required.
- French language skills are a plus.
