Job Description:
A certified ISO 9001: 2000 company, and a leading provider of metal fabricating services and solutions is seeking a highly motivated Quality Control Technician.
The position requires a take charge individual and have the following responsibilities:
Develop, implement, perform and document all inspection related procedures and activities
Monitor, document and provide meaningful quality performance reports
Perform quality audits and prepare reports as required by ISO 9001:2000
Corrective/Preventive Action and Non-Conforming Product Systems
Communicate and train employees on Quality Compliance and Requirements
Qualifications:
Experienced in GD&T, SPC, PPAP, Cost of Quality, ISO 9001:2000 and Metallurgy.
Experienced in the operation of CMM, Romer or Faro Measuring Arms and other inspection related equipment.
Strong background in blueprint reading, Caliper, Tape Measure, Squares.
Associates Degree or ASQ "Certified Quality Technician".
Six Sigma Experience a plus.
