Position Overview
This candidate should have strong, proven solid model design skills in Solid Works, mechanical aptitude, sheet metal fabrication experience in order to support our engineering, and fabrication requirements.

Required Personal Characteristics – Fit:
• Fits our culture without having to make adjustments;

• Has successful experience managing several projects in a parallel manner;
• Manages deliverables to agreed to deadlines;
• Strong metal design and fabrication experience – sheet metal and piping
• Significant experience with finite element analysis, and flow analysis – must be close to a subject matter expert;
• Strong solid modeling design skills – ideally with equipment where optimizing designs for thermal and mechanical stress and strain, vibration, and acoustic requirements is necessary;
• Understanding and comfort with SolidWorks
Educational and Experience
• Four-year degree in a mechanical discipline – mechanical engineering preferred
Preferred skills and experience:
• Meaningful exposure to acoustic silencer design
• More than a casual exposure to SolidWorks Simulation, Flow Simulation, and Sheet metal.
