WHY IS THIS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY? We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who will develop and implement manufacturing processes in accordance with strategic directives, product specifications and quality standards. Will recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods and controls.

  • Carries out process improvement, problem resolution, project management and employee training in conjunction with Operations and Engineering Management
  • Reviews and analyzes data and information in order to improve manufacturing processes and methods for cost-reduction, quality improvement and efficiency
  • Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring projects, such as preparation of records of expenditures and research findings, progress reports, and staff conferences, in order to inform management of current status of each project
  • Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment
  • Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment
  • Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results
  • Designs, develops and tests and/or sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods
  • Contributes to the product introduction process with respect to cost estimation, process investigation, schedule development and prototype manufacture

  • Leadership/Drive - displays passion and optimism; inspires respect and trust; provides vision and inspiration to peers and subordinates
  • Communication/Teamwork - Strong written and oral communication and willingness to contribute to building a positive team spirit

  • Bachelor`s degree in mechanical engineering or related filed strongly preferred. Five (5) to seven (7) years relevant work experience preferably in a construction equipment manufacturing environment
  • Lean Manufacturing Certification preferred
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Suite and a proficiency with Solid Works

University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
