Description:
The Coding Technician is responsible for coding and abstracting information from discharged inpatient medical records and from outpatient records for purposes of accurate patient billing; for disease, operation and physician indices; and for the maintenance of a statistical patient data base.
Qualifications:
CCS/RHIA/RHIT is required.
1 to 3 years of HIM Coding experience preferred.
