Description:
The Registered Nurse is responsible to Nursing Systems for the delivery of quality patient care utilizing the nursing process. The quality of care given will be in keeping with the philosophy and objectives of the hospital and the Department of Nursing and will maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice in order to meet the health care needs of patients, their families and the community.
The Registered Nurse prescribes, delegates and coordinates all nursing care provided throughout the hospital. The RN is responsible for meeting all standards associated with performance, nursing practice and nursing care.
Qualifications:
Florida RN license.
For Med/Surg Float Pool, must be well versed in all med/surg areas. At least 1 year acute care experience required.
For Critical Care Float Pool, must be well versed in all critical care/emergency areas of the hospital. At least 1 to 3 years of acute care critical care experience required.
Both float pools require a shift commitment of at least 2 twelve hour shifts per week, and flexibility to folat between any unit, and either hospital(Ocala Regional Medical Center/West Marion Community Hospital).
