Location and Description: A hospital in south Oregon is seeking a full-time OCCUPATIONAL Therapist in the rehabilitation department. Facility:
This acute care healthcare facility is a medium size acute care hospital and is the major healthcare provider this city. They have all the normal nursing units to include and emergency room and the normal allied health departments of a major medical Center.
Position Reports to: Director of Rehabilitation Services
Qualifications: A BS/MS in OCCUPATIONAL Therapy with at least 1year clinical experience in OCCUPATIONAL therapy in an acute care setting is preferred. An Oregon OT License will be required. The facility will consider a very sharp new graduate with the ability and is willing to learn all modalities of OCCUPATIONAL therapy services.
Responsibilities:
The OT will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering OCCUPATIONAL therapy as prescribed by a physician to include inpatient, outpatient, and Home Care patients of all ages.
Salary:
Plus Evening Differentials of $1.40, Nights $2.70, Weekends $1.25, Charge $1.40 and Preceptor of $.75 per hour All recruitment fees paid by employer.

Traits:
The ideal individual should be an OCCUPATIONAL Therapist and be able to obtain a State of Oregon license with some experience as an OT in an acute care setting. An aggressive new graduate with some experience will be considered if they agree to learn all the modalities in OCCUPATIONAL therapy. The person should have experience with the ability to relate to staff and communicate effectively with all staff members and physicians.
