This acute care healthcare facility is a medium size acute care hospital and is the major healthcare provider this city. They have all the normal nursing units to include and emergency room and the normal allied health departments of a major medical Center.

Qualifications:
AS degree in PHYSICAL Therapy with at least 1-year clinical experience in PHYSICAL therapy and preferably someone with experience in functional treatment. A Michigan PHYSICAL Therapy Assistant License will be required. The facility will consider a very sharp new graduate if the person is willing to learn all modalities of PHYSICAL therapy services. This is an excellent opportunity to grow.
Responsibilities:
The PHYSICAL Therapy Assistant will be responsible for providing a variety of PHYSICAL therapy treatment protocols in a modern setting to a wide range of patients to include but will be primarily adolescence, adult and geriatric patients. The person will be responsible for all patient care treatment plans as directed and the person will be an integral part of the rehabilitation team.

Traits:
The ideal individual should have a degree as a PHYSICAL Therapy Assistant be able to obtain a license in the State of Michigan with some experience as a PHYSICAL Therapy Assistant in an acute care setting. An aggressive new graduate will be considered if they agree to learn all the modalities in PHYSICAL therapy. The person should have experience with the ability to relate to staff and communicate effectively with all staff members and physicians. This position is considered a professional member of the Rehabilitation Services departments and will have the perks associated with this status.
