EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS....
Our client is a well known hospital corporation that has several facilities throughout Austin. They currently seek a full time COTA to join their inpatient rehab team.
Under the general supervision of the Program Supervisor, administers treatment and programs or portions thereof as planned and directed by a licensed occupational therapist. The COTA is responsible for the correct execution of therapeutic activities and exercise regimes to patients. Maintains accurate records pertinent to patient`s treatment. Supports professional standards and knowledge/skill level.
1. Executes patient treatment program.
2. Documents and communicates therapy services provided.
3. Plans and coordinates treatment program.
4. Performs miscellaneous job duties as assigned.
Skills/Requirements
* Associate`s Degree in Occupational Therapy or an Occupational Therapy Assistant certificate.
* A minimum of 2 months of supervised field work experience.
* Licensed or eligibility for license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of Texas.
* Current CPR certification.
* Valid Texas driver`s license is assigned to operate system vehicles.
Preferred:
Rehabilitation field work or rehabilitation internship.
Qualifications:
Must have an Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy and hold a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
