Electronics Maintenance Technician II, Installer / AVN-08-05
Job Location: Fort Worth, TX
Description:
- Incumbent is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled avionics installations / modifications and maintaining avionics and electrical systems on general aviation / corporate type aircraft including:
- Assisting in the final checkout of new installations or the modification of aircraft avionic systems and components
- Complying with the requirements of OEM and FAA, including FAR 91.207, 91.411 & 91.
- Troubleshooting system malfunctions, isolating system failures, and performing corrective actions.
- Contacting OEM, technical representatives, and suppliers for technical assistance.
- Documenting maintenance actions in the appropriate aircraft logbooks, forms, and records.
- Submitting articles to the Quality Control department for acceptance.
- Possessing the ability to work any assigned shift or schedule, including mission support outside normal duty hours and travel to support mission requirements.
- Maintaining associated support equipment and mission equipment.
Qualifications:
- FAA Airframe, FCC license desired, but not required.
- Minimum 3 years avionics installation and line troubleshooting experience with King, Collins, and Garmin equipment installed on general aviation/corporate type aircraft.
- Must own sufficient hand tools to perform routine airframe and avionics duties.
- Must have a valid US Passport and US drivers license.
