Job Description:
Manage the delinquent and charged off loan portfolios by reviewing and analyzing trends in loan portfolios and recommending strategies to minimize credit losses or other credit risk exposure. Provide strategic focus for collection efforts based on delinquency trends. Supervise the collection department.
Required Skills
- Extensive knowledge of and ability to apply financial analysis
- Must have knowledge of lending and credit
- Must be familiar with statistical tools
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to support and justify recommendations
- Strong analytical and communication skills along with demonstrated ability to make inferences from statistical models and data
- Supervisory experience with hiring, promotion, coaching and performance appraisals
- Bachelors degree in business, finance or equivalent credit lending experience required
- Three years experience in credit risk management required
The candidate will be an experienced professional who will be able to assume immediate responsibilities identified in the job description. The candidate will be expected to rely heavily on experience gained in previous positions, knowledge of the field and sound judgment to play a leading role in the management of credit risks.
