Qualifications/Experience:
Master’s degree in social science field with Ohio license of LSW, PC, or above. Licensed Ohio driver, including physical ability to drive and availability of personal vehicle.
General Duties:
Therapist functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team providing crisis assessment and screening services for youth and their families at the Montgomery County Children’s Services offices who may be experiencing mental health and/or substance abuse problems or who may be victims of abuse, neglect or have dependency issues. This position is designed to focus on the population of youth ages 0-6 years old who are being removed from their homes and being placed in alternate care settings. Services may included crisis screening, lethality screening, consultation, education and referral to other community services. These services may be delivered by phone, face-to-face or in the client’s home. Clinical supervision is provided to the position by an independently licensed clinician.
