Job Description:
Practices under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in accordance with the standards of nursing care. Assists with the identification of the basic biophysical, psychosocial, environmental and self-care factors of each patient in collaboration with the Registered Nurse. Implements the interventions identified in the plan of care. Monitors the patient’s progress toward the attainment of outcomes.
Job Requirements:
Minimum knowledge and skills required:
Basic personal computer skills.
IV certification (required within 6 months of hire).
Minimum education and experience required:
Graduate of an approved school of practical/vocational nursing.
Licensure or registration required:
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Kansas
Current Basic Life Support certification.
