Job Description:
Performs individualized patient-focused care and technical tasks under the direct delegation of a registered nurse that are based on the developmental levels of the department’s specific patient population. Assist patients with the activities of daily living utilizing a patient-centered approach. Serves as a patient advocate working in a collaborative manner with the interdisciplinary team.
Job Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or GED. Prefer: Completion of a nurse assistant training program; OR Six months previous nurse assistant experience; OR Emergency medical technician (EMT) experience; OR Successful completion of the first semester of nursing school clinical, which includes basic clinical skills.
Experience - Preferred but may not be required. Licensure or registration required: Healthcare Provider CPR Certification/Licensure - Basic Life Support certification.
