Web Yoga is currently seeking a C/C++ Developer to for our client to work with their Point of Sale development group. This is a contract to hire position in Dayton, Ohio. SALARY: $50/55K
Technologies section is seeking a Microsoft C/C++ developer. This person must have experience developing applications in designing and implementing complex applications using C/C++.
Eligibility Requirements:
Some technical experience in the areas identified below.
Work Experience Desired:
Preferred candidate would have experience with the following:
Software engineering/application development experience with object-oriented analysis and development.
POS (Point of Sale) development experience
Microsoft C/C++
Experience in static debugging
Relational Database Design and programming experience with SQL Server.
Other Skills:
C#, VB experience a plus
Must be extremely organized & motivated
Must work with a sense of urgency
Must have a passion for quality control
Experience working with a project manager to formulate and use project plans and associated documents
Experience working in small teams
Must work well with others
Core Job Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, document, and support enterprise software solutions utilizing the Microsoft Development Framework and surrounding technologies
2. Work closely with business clients to identify needs and solutions.
3. Must be willing to support critical applications after-hours and on weekends (on call with pager). This responsibility is rotated and shared.
