REQUIRED:
Core Web 2.0 front end developer like HTML, AJAX, XML, Javascript and middleware development - Web 2.0 and AJAX are mandatory and needs to show on the resume that they have the experience.
DESCRIPTION:
Minimum 5+ years of J2EE enterprise application development experience involving any of MVC based design, JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, JDBC, Middleware with SOA (Service Oriented Architecture).
Some experience on Weblogic app server 8.1
They have applications developed using J2EE talking to Legacy bases systems, COBOL, CICS and DB2. They also use SQL Server 2000 as database and moving on to 2005.
Candidates need not be expert on mainframes, but project experience where in mainframe was one of the component would be beneficial.
Architectural knowledge is required, Candidates should be aware of various design patterns used within Enterprise Java, Use case design experience or familiarity is a must. UML knowledge is required but UML tools knowledge is not necessary.
They are looking for two different skill sets:
1. Core Web 2.0 front end developer like HTML, AJAX, XML, Javascript
2. Core middletier, enterprise developer.
It is difficult to find all in one profile, (this is the Christmas wish list), so two different profiles complimenting one another would work as well.
It is desired that the middle tier enterprise developer has some lead experience, he will be responsible for managing the task, leading the technical team. However client would consider looking at straight developers.
