Major Responsibilities:
• teach undergraduate accounting and business administration students
• teach M.B.A. and M.B.A.-Accounting students
• teach in the Executive M.B.A., if qualified
• conduct research in field of specialization
• provide service to the business community and improve the practice of business in the area of service
• other activities that support the mission of the AACSB-accredited College of Business Administration and Winthrop University
Qualifications:
• Ph.D. or ABD near completion in accounting. The area of specialization is open
• candidate must demonstrate potential for effectiveness as a teacher and researcher
• desirable qualifications include professional experience, ability to use instructional technology, and familiarity with distance learning
• candidate strengths must complement current faculty and support the evolving mission of the department
Employment conditions: A nine-month, full-time tenure track appointment with the option of summer employment; ABD as Instructor in non-tenure track appointment. Salary is competitive.
