Applications Sales Engineer (ME / ChE) 336250
Develop process designs and equipment selection on proposals that provide the best cost competitive solution for the customer's requirements.
* Work with product technology specialists on complex designs as required by department process guidelines to assure the best knowledge the design and process guarantees.
* Develop and maintain cost estimates using the best resources available resulting in the lowest possible cost for flare bids.
* Meet the needs of the order entry process and promptly complete the project turnover requirements to help achieve on-time performance and on budget actuals on all new projects.
* Develop an understanding of environmental regulations and other factors that drive the flare market.
Requirements
* Minimum 5-10 years experience in applications, process or project engineering and/or technical sales. Strong communication skills- written and verbal. Highly motivated individual with good knowledge of combustion processes is required.
* Previous technical experience with combustion equipment. Previous applications engineering / technical sales experience with similar products is preferred.
* B.S. in Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering is required.
